Talent Canada is looking for speakers for its 2023 HR Boot Camp: The Employee Journey.

After careful consideration, we are making some significant changes to the format, style and timing of this event. Rather than a one-day, in-person seminar in Toronto in April we are moving it to a year-long national, online virtual learning series.

We’re currently finalizing the schedule, but plan to launch the first session in March and run them regularly throughout 2023. This will enable us to reach a wider audience, with a staggered approach, and put a stronger focus on each of the topics.

“We’re excited about this event, which is designed to be an ongoing journey for anyone who has people management responsibilities,” said Todd Humber, senior editor for Talent Canada at Annex Business Media. “We’re going to be presenting cutting-edge and proven practices to equip HR professionals and business leaders with the tools they need to ensure they are able to find and keep the best talent.”

Sessions are planned on numerous topics, including:

  • Background screening
  • Recruitment and retention
  • Onboarding and orientation
  • Learning and development
  • Compensation
  • Payroll
  • HR technology
  • Pensions
  • Employment law

Send speaker proposals to thumber@annexbusinessmedia.com and mark your calendars.
