Ontario is temporarily slashing peak hydro rates as many people work remotely during the pandemic.
Premier Doug Ford said the province is moving from time-of-use pricing to off-peak rates 24 hour a day for the next 45 days, according to the Canadian Press.
Small business and farms will also be eligible for the lowest rate possible.
The move is expected to save a typical household $20 per month, small businesses $150 and farms more than $300.
