Outlining changes to the Canada Summer Jobs program
By Talent Canada staff
As part of its COVID-19 financial relief response, the federal government has introduced several changes to the Canada Summer Jobs program to respond to the needs of employers and youth.
Federal MP Irek Kusmierczyk recently joined Talent Canada editor Marcel Vander Wier for a podcast discussion on changes to the program.
Representing the area of Windsor-Tecumseh in Ontario, Kusmierczyk also serves as parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion.
He details changes to the program, the role of the Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) in the process and advice for participating employers and youth.
