Alida, a company specializing in experience management, has announced the appointment of Tanya Jarrett to the position of chief people officer. As CPO, Jarrett will lead the organization’s global people strategies, and continue strengthening Alida’s employee experience (EX) and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
“I am thrilled to join Alida and support scaling their global people operations at such an exciting and high-growth time in their journey,” said Jarrett. “Creating exceptional EX is a crucial first step when building leading customer experiences and is far too often overlooked, especially in times of economic market uncertainty. Alida has continued to prioritize the well-being of its employees and is constantly looking for ways to innovate its culture. I look forward to joining this passionate team and supporting employees to explore and realize their full potential.”
Jarrett is a seasoned and deeply passionate people leader with over two decades of combined experience in technology, interactive entertainment, and the film and VFX industry spaces. Jarrett has served as chief people officer at Tigera, a security for cloud-native applications company, as well as at Traction on Demand, a professional services and SaaS company. At both of these firms Jarrett led the people and culture function through significant periods of growth. She has also held senior leadership positions at Electronic Arts Canada, Sony Pictures Imageworks, and Urthecast.
“Tanya’s experience building high-performance cultures and teams, alongside her strong passion for EX makes her an invaluable addition to the Alida leadership team,” said Ross Wainwright, CEO of Alida. “As a strategic HR executive, Tanya’s extensive track record in leading global talent strategies through rapid growth will be an incredible asset as we continue to strengthen our momentum as a leader in the experience management market.”
In addition to Jarrett’s extensive HR leadership experience, she is a strong advocate for diversity and the equitable treatment of all within and outside of the workplace, the company said in a press release.
Alida has Canadian offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Edmonton.
