Mike Rencheck, president and CEO of Bruce Power

Michael W. Rencheck is President and Chief Executive Officer of Bruce Power. Mike has served in a number of senior roles over his 35-year career and prior to joining Bruce Power in 2016, he served as the Deputy Chief Operating Officer for AREVA Group overseeing its extensive global capital portfolio of nuclear and renewable projects.

Mike has been recognized by the National Safety Council for his leadership demonstrating a personal commitment to worker safety and health and was designated by the US Department of Energy as a STEM ambassador. In 2020, he was named the ‘CEO of the Year’ by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce as part of the Ontario Business Achievement Awards.

He also has demonstrated a commitment to many organizations that make a difference in people’s lives including Habitat for Humanity and United Way. Mike is a Professional Engineer and certified senior reactor operator and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Electric Power Research Institute and on advisory councils for several small modular reactor companies.

Nigel Branker is President, Health and Productivity Solutions and Executive Vice President at LifeWorks

In this role, Mr. Branker leads the teams responsible for providing absence and disability management services, workers’ compensation and safety groups services, and for delivering LifeWorks’ internet-based cognitive behavioural therapy solution, AbilitiCBT. Mr. Branker has helped shape LifeWorks’ approach to workplace productivity with his strong focus on employee experience and measurable health outcomes. He leads the firm’s efforts to help clients identify and implement solutions to address mental health in the workplace, with a focus on providing people with the right tools and supports for varying levels of needs.

Mr. Branker is also the chair of the Company’s Inclusion and Diversity council. He joined the organization in 2012 and was previously Senior Vice President, Pension Consulting and Health and Benefits Consulting for Ontario. Prior to joining LifeWorks, Mr. Branker held a number of senior roles in global consulting firms. He holds an Honours BSc in Actuarial Science and Mathematics from the University of Western Ontario and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and of the Society of Actuaries.

Chris Inniss, CEO of Pathwise Credit Union

Chris is the CEO of Pathwise Credit Union in the Durham Region. Chris rose through the ranks in retail and small business/commercial banking at a big bank before moving to the credit union system, which was a better values-fit. Before becoming CEO, Chris’ management experience at the director and VP levels focused on member experience, strategy, and sales leadership in a complex, multi branch-multi-region environment.

Through his tenure at Pathwise he has worked to transform the organization and its culture, including integration of five UN Sustainable Development Goals into its value chain. Pathwise aims to make an impact to gender equality, decent work and economic growth, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities and communities and climate action.

He is also a recent graduate of the executive MBA program at Ivey Business School at Western University where he graduated with an Ivey Scholar distinction for finishing in the top 5 in his class.

Chris is active in his community, sitting on the board for the Business Advisory Centre Durham and The Back Door Mission for the Relief of Poverty. In his spare time, he is a hobby farmer with his wife, Bayley and infant daughter, Margaret.
