Dr. Bill Howatt is the CEO of Howatt Consulting and the chief of research and workforce productivity at the Conference Board of Canada, leading its applied research programs in workplace wellness, mental health and workforce productivity.

Mary Ann Baynton

Mary Ann’s areas of expertise include workplace mental health, psychological safety, resolving conflict, and building resilience.

She was co-chair for the technical committee that developed the National Standard of Canada on Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.

As the principal of Mary Ann Baynton & Associates she consults with organizations and institutions across the country.

She also serves as the Director of Strategy and Collaboration for Workplace Strategies for Mental Health which produces free resources for all Canadians with support from Canada Life.

Mary Ann is the author of several books including The Evolution of Workplace Mental Health in Canada and Mindful Manager. She strives to help people eliminate unnecessary suffering and improve lives.

Terri Marques, Executive Director of Bellwood Health Services

Terri graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters Degree in Social Work in 1989 and worked at the Toronto General Hospital in the Department of Psychiatry for over 10 years. Terri’s early career focused primarily on eating disorders treatment which led her to Credit Valley Hospital, where she developed and opened the facility’s inpatient and outpatient program. Expanding her management role, Terri eventually moved into running many aspects of the Mental Health portfolio at what is now known as Trillium Health Partners, the largest community hospital in Canada.

Terri has more recently transitioned to Executive Director of Bellwood Health Services, one of the flagship locations in the EHN Canada network, an industry-leading provider of private mental health and addiction treatment services across the country. Terri continues to use her strong leadership background and clinical experience to not only advocate for excellence in patient care, but also promote the wellbeing of clinicians and staff at Bellwood.
